Flawless 2D Drawings and Reports
PropCad 2025’s integrated report viewer now features enhanced 2D CAD lines and support for high-resolution graphics. Navigating your documents is easier than ever with responsive mouse scrolling and automatic page transitions. We’ve also significantly improved CSV exports, enabling faster, more reliable transfer of design data to and from Excel and other tools.
Critical Updates to ABS Classification Society Rules
PropCad is the industry-leading tool for determining propeller blade thickness compliance and all classification society propeller rules have been updated to 2025. Worth noting this year, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) ruleset has revised their ice-class ruleset – A0, B0, and C0 classes have been removed, while D0 and E0 remain valid. PropCad continues to support the pre-2025 versions of the retired classes with clear notation, but the Finnish-Swedish Ice Class Rules (FSICR) provides an accepted alternative for compliant design of first-year ice ship propellers. PropCad continues to offer the most comprehensive collection of marine propeller thickness calculations and has a longstanding track record on inspector approval.
