These instructions will assist you in
the download and setup of installation files for NavCad.
Installation files are available for
- the Latest Update (program files
only)
Step 1. Check your MSU and version
status
DO NOT install this update of
NavCad if:
- You are not a registered user of
the software. It will not run.
- Your MSU subscription has expired.
This version will not run if it does not find valid MSU
information on your security key, and you may be required to
re-install your previous version. Click the links for more
information about the MSU
subscription program, or how to determine
your MSU status.
- You have not set up the initial
installation from a NavCad 2004 (or newer) CD-ROM or Full
Installation download.
Step 2. Download the installation
Step 3. Install the files
Run the downloaded file and install
the update into your current NavCad directory. This will update your
existing version to the newest update. Please
review the READ ME page of the installation carefully.
INSTALLATION PASSWORD REQUIRED.
Registered users: contact HydroComp if you have not received your NavCad
2008 Installation Password.
