| Keeping abreast of the
latest advances in marine propulsion can be difficult. If you are a
designer or propulsion equipment supplier, however, it is vital to
your business. Of course, learning how to best use technical
software can be a big investment in time. Many companies maximize
this investment and keep on top of contemporary practices with
training from HydroComp.
HydroComp also publishes articles and
white papers for the benefit of our customers and clients - and for
the marine industry at large. These can be found in the Knowledge
section.

- HydroComp will be conducting a "Mini"
Bootcamp the day before METS commences, on Monday 15
November 2010. This one-day comprehensive workshop will focus on
propeller design and analysis, and will be held in the new
Elicium Towers at the Amsterdam RAI. If you are interested in
receiving further information about the "Mini"
Bootcamp, please email HydroComp. Our last training at the RAI
before METS 2006 was very popular, and we expect that this
session will fill up quickly.

| Seminar
training |
HydroComp periodically offers seminar training at sites
around the world. Typical seminars include user training for
NavCad, PropExpert and PropCad, as well as for basic and
advanced principles of marine propulsion.
HydroComp tailors seminar
topics to address the needs of a specific audience. The
seminars are designed to allow participants the opportunity
to interact with the instructor, ask questions, and bring
their own projects for discussion. In an effort to provide
personal attention, we intentionally keep the number of
attendees relatively low.
Here are some comments from
participants of a HydroComp seminar:
"Good mix of current theory; practical
examples."
"Impressed with the commitment to provide best possible
tool."
"I definitely feel Don [MacPherson] is about as good as
it gets in this field and I learned a lot. I will be sending
some of my people to future seminars."
