Supports Diabetes Research with Upgrade Opportunity
We believe that all individuals and
organizations have a shared responsibility to give back to our
global community. To do our part, we have joined in the fight
against Type I (Juvenile) Diabetes following the diagnosis of one of
our staff member's children. In an effort to make a financial
contribution to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
International (JDRF), HydroComp has launched two software upgrade
incentive programs.
The first campaign, the HydroComp
Legacy Upgrade Challenge, was launched in September for those older
legacy clients. The second campaign begins in November for all other
customers. All of HydroComp's 500 clients, will be included in the
campaigns.
“For the past eight years, we have
been involved with JDRF's Walk To Cure Diabetes events. We are
delighted to take that commitment one step further by developing
programs that encourage our clients to update their software and
support the JDRF.” says Jill Aaron, HydroComp's Managing Director.
Through the years HydroComp has
participated in various fundraising activities sponsored by the
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (www.jdrf.org).
The JDRF is a non-profit organization that endeavors to eradicate
Type I Juvenile Diabetes - an autoimmune disease where the body's
immune system attacks and destroys its own cells.
Jill Aaron, who is managing the
program, looks forward to strong support for the campaign. “We
value our relationship with our clients and with our community.
Diabetes is a global issue which affects over 240 million people
worldwide. We are focusing our efforts on Type I because it strikes
children, teenagers and young adults. We want to take this
opportunity to contact our clients and leverage our position in the
marine industry to support the researchers and companies that are
working to find a cure for this chronic and debilitating
disease."
